POLL WATCH — DOUG FORD scored some major cool points by playing “Captain Canada” and is now enjoying a “Trump bump” in the polls.
According to the Angus Reid Institute, the Premier’s approval has shot up to 48 per cent — the highest it’s been since 2021 and the second-biggest bump of all the Premiers. He’s been able to channel Canadians’ anger and fears over DONALD TRUMP’s tariff war — something that’s working for all the Premiers, and especially Ford, who just won a third majority mandate.
