ALL ABOUT THE AG REPORT — Auditor General BONNIE LYSYK dropped her annual value-for-money report on Thursday. It’s over 1,000 pages filled with nitty-gritty details on government waste and spending woes.

Here are the key points:

— TOP DOC: Doctors were paid five times more than nurses to administer anti-Covid shots, earning between $170 and $220 per hour, compared to nurses, who were paid $32 to $49. Pharmacists made $30 to $57.

— HOT SPOTS: Determining Covid “hot spots” where vaccinations would be prioritized was not always consistently applied. Nine high-risk neighbourhoods were missed. While the Ministry of Health “did not apply their chosen method of selection consistently across all postal code regions,” Lysyk said “political interference” wasn’t a factor.
