New blood: In Carleton, currently held by turfed-Tory-turned-Independent GOLDIE GHAMARI, is GEORGE DAROUZE, three-time city councillor. JERRY PRIBIL, another councillor in London, is gunning for NDP-held London North Centre. BILL STEELE, a regional councillor in Niagara, will challenge the NDP in Niagara Centre. And BETH ALLISON, a local Catholic school principal, is running in London West, an NDP bastion for the last decade.
