The people have spoken — and y’all aren’t buying the DOUG FORD federal fantasy. I ran the numbers from last week’s poll:

Ok, ok, I hear you. But just as the curtain was falling on that PM Ford theory, the Premier surprised everyone with a plot twist — flip-flopping on a federal file he’s usually fuming about: immigration.

It all started with a bold promise to wrest some power from Ottawa and hand out provincial work permits to asylum seekers — a move Ford said was necessary because the feds are dragging their feet. But days later, he reversed course on the policy he admitted was pretty much based on chatter from a Tim Hortons parking lot. Grab your double-double and let’s dig into Ford’s double back.
