A momentous moment in the House today as MPPs could vote on the PCs motion censuring NDPer SARAH JAMA. But first — the Tories are raising cash off of the spectre of wannabe Grit captain BONNIE CROMBIE, while her opponents of all political stripes pen a couple of Dear Justin letters.
ANTI-CROMBIE CASH — If you had any doubt that Crombie — the frontrunner in the Liberal leadership race when it comes to fundraising, (self-reported) membership numbers and name recognition — has the ruling PCs shaking in their boots, allow their latest moneymaking push to poke some holes in that theory.
The Tories continue to come for Crombie, pouncing on her most recent fiasco at Mississauga City Hall (more on that below).
